Annoying slow-mo. Honestly, the crash looked spectacular but not too serious until that very last car piled in as the video cut. Hoping for the best...

Again a case of drivers not anticipating when there is a crash in front. Nothing happened in radaillon for many years, and the last few years this keeps happening. Drivers piling into crashed cars. Some gravel would surely help, the last 2 cars piling in over the run off area would not have been there or at least at a slower speed with gravel

No. Next year that accident won't be possible as 1) there will be gravel there and 2) the barrier will be much further back from the edge of the circuit.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Crashing against stationary cars is always worrisome, IMO. Also, this was a second crash for most of the cars, and this is very risky once the cars have already done their job of absorbing the first impact. I watched the slo-mo and all my mind did at the time was screaming "Hubert". It could have been very serious.

I think any corner would be dangerous if you had 5 cars having a moment at the same time.

Yeah, for example BTCC chaos at Croft Qualy few years ago. Not the fastest cars and track but it was very dangerous. Or British gt rain chaos very long time ago at Oulton Park. They didn't hit any dangerous barrier, just went into themselves

Wohlwend tried to throttle it on the inside when she must have seen several cars going off already? That looks downright stupid at first glance. It made the pile-up even worse.

It's apparently because they resurfaced Eau Rouge (possibly from damage after the floods they had a few months ago, or as part of the redevelopment?) But the cars are bottoming out and loosing their aero. So with full tanks, cold tyres, and then the aero lose, the cars are literally skating through there and all you're relying on is the rubber left on the track, so if you go offline just a bit....

Rain really coming down again. Wouldn't be surprised if F3 gets cancelled at this rate

So atm no decision when or if W series race is gonna happen?
They really can't take a chance to move session to Sunday, as it can be ever worse tomorrow.

It'll get dumped in favour of F3, they won't delay that for W Series to run before.
