What happened to the IRL's new oval package?

Did it only take 2 races for the teams to out-develop the series to make oval racing shitty again?

Kansas is a crap oval

Seems that way doesn't it. Maybe it's just because Kansas sucks.

Kansas really sucks.

Doesn't matter if it's NASCAR or the IRL, the track is really lifeless.

I was unaware of the 'out of bounds' rule until now.

Even though Kansas sucks, I don't really think things will change much going on the next few ovals.

Like Paul mentioned earlier, it seems that the teams have gotten around what made the new oval rules good at first. Now it's back to the drawing board.

I think a part of the problem, at the front at least is that Ganassi & Penske seem to have a big oval package advantage over the rest. Ganassi's pace today has been quite a bit faster than anyone else.

Everyone else is fairly close & there has been some decent racing from about 5th back. If the rest could catch upto the speed of the Penske & Ganassi's & the racing at the front was as good as it has been further back this race would have been a lot better to this point.

Race Control just died.

The stands are almost empty (for those who haven't noticed).

I have. You really can't hide those. Plus, this gives much more ammo for the faggots at CCF to use.
