The people who say she isn't causing any trouble just need to go back and look at those highlight videos posted. How many traffic jams and near misses did she cause? :o

Hinchcliffe takes pole position for the Indy Lights race tomorrow; JK Vernay did indeed get the fastest lap just before the end of the session, but he apparently set during a local yellow area on the track, so it was disallowed. He starts second.

IndyCar qualifying starts in 30 minutes. Qualifying groups as follows:

Code:
Group 1
#5  Takuma Sato
#6  Ryan Briscoe
#8  EJ Viso
#9  Scott Dixon
#10 Dario Franchitti
#11 Tony Kanaan
#19 Alex Lloyd
#26 Marco Andretti
#32 Mario Moraes
#34 Mario Romancini
#36 Bertrand Baguette
#77 Alex Tagliani
#78 Simona de Silvestro

Group 2
#2  Raphael Matos
#3  Helio Castroneves
#4  Dan Wheldon
#7  Danica Patrick
#12 Will Power
#14 Vitor Meira
#18 Milka Duno
#22 Justin Wilson
#24 Mike Conway
#37 Ryan Hunter-Reay
#67 Graham Rahal
#06 Hideki Mutoh

Sato scraped the wall. I think Viso did as well.

And TK went down an escape road.

Wow!! Lots of movement in the first group in the final seconds!! De Silvestro almost got through, bumped out again last second by Andretti.

Dixon, Franchitti, Kanaan, Tagliani, Briscoe and Andretti are through to the second part of qualifying.

No KVRT cars made it through either; all 3 were in that group.

This new timing and scoring system you really would have thought they would have fixed by now. Why are they listing all the cars on group qualifying.. it makes it very hard to follow whos getting bumped out etcs.

Edit: Oh wait its just the html version thats doing that. Oh well lol.

Power, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Wilson, Castroneves, Mutoh and Wheldon make it through to the second part of qualifying. Conway and Danica are amongst those that don't make it.

Franchitti, Dixon and Andretti are out of the Firestone Fast Six!

Through are Power, Hunter-Reay, Castroneves, Kanaan, Wilson and Briscoe.

That session was so competitive.. so many fast times!!

Bit of a disappointing Fast 6 finale but oh well. Power comfortably on pole, Hunter-Reay 2nd, Wilson 3rd, Castroneves 4th, Briscoe 5th, Kanaan 6th.

Cannot wait for the race tomorrow!!

Milka Duno is out on track btw, so it looks like she will be taking part. I'm guessing the league parked her yesterday in qualifying so she wouldn't get in the way of the other cars' qualifying attempts.
