As far as I knew Grosjean has never not been supported by Renault / Genii Capital, even after he was dropped from the F1 team at the end of 2009. DAMS is Genii's team and you're right, Grosjean was drafted in to help sort out the car.

I hate the engine cover on these new cars.

Either run with a full f1 style shark-fin or stick with a more standard design, This in-between design looks terrible :yuk:

The fastest times they drove where like 2 seconds off the pace of HRT on Friday.

These new cars look horrible. Why have they followed F1 with these ridiculous out of proportion wings. And I agree, the shark fin is terrible.

According to the GP2 website the track in Abu Dhabi for the opening round of the GP2 Asia series next weekend will be a different layout to the usual one:

That's the layout the V8 Supercars are going to use, hence the layout change

Here's a couple of TV screen of this morning practice session, the cars look great from the onboard views but the cars viewed from the external angles look horrible.

We've had a couple seasons now for me to get used to this completely disproportionate wings look on F1 cars and now GP2 cars... and yet I still hate it with a rage that burns hotter than the surface of the Sun. It just plain looks stupid. :yuk: Why is it that after the mid 1990s, all race cars started looking worse?

I was really looking forward to this, mainly because they still used the original GP2 cars
