?

There are going to be crap drivers in every series. The only unmitigated crap in F2 this year is Kralev, Kumar, Texeira and perhaps Sureshwaren. Everyone else has either proved themselves already or deserves the opportunity to.

I'd rather have 24 cars with a few bad drivers than a situation such as the one in the Euroseries, with just 13 drivers, some of whom will also be rubbish.

There are still two (3) seats to fill and there is a chance that they will be filled by more championship contenders.

First test at Snetterton ends with Dean Stoneman on top.

The bigger surprise is that no-one was embarrasingly slow.

It's a 58 seconds lap. Multiply laptimes by 1.5 and you'll get the differences at normal circuits: ex. Kralev is 3 seconds off the pace. ;)

Even 3 seconds isn't that awful. He won't be getting in anyone's way at that sort of pace.

Yeah but that's only natural. The man has gained now some experience after driving a few GP2 rounds, and this F2 field is absolutely pathetic. With those circumstances, 3 seconds is pretty awful.

Is F2 going to be shown on TV this year?

I think it'll be on Eurosport as usual but they're busy with snooker, Le Mans bikes and Renault Stuff this weekend (IE Renault probably pay more than Palmer :p )

I imagine it'll turn up in some kind of truncated form on Sunday evening... and rounds with fewer clashes will be shown live.

Is this working for those outside the UK? -

http://www.formulatwo.com/f2tv-live.aspx

I get "this video is not available from your country". :yuk: Was hoping to see live coverage on the site as Eurosport will only have their usual butcher's job of a delayed highlights package.
