Can anyone tell me what time the first race is? When I checked last night the countdown timer would end at 9:00 my time which would make it 5 AM Britain time. I know that isnt correct.
Sportv is saying it will be 7am here in Brazil, as UK is 4 hours ahead of us so I think it will be 11am there

Crap, I cant get that plug-in working that you need to watch the race online.

Does anyone know if the stream posted in the online-streams page will work?

That pic of Dortmund's car reminds of Legge's ride last year.

I just went on the Spurs website - no mention of this weekend's race at all. How is this going to work with a lack of promotion, especially as it's on Setanta? Autosport had a feature on it, yes, but SLF isn't aiming for motorsport fans anyway

I just can't see football fans taking to it, and in the cut-throat world of modern business it hasn't really got much room for manoevre - it has to work and be popular pretty quickly. I think the whole concept has a big flaw in it - there are 2 English teams, so generally only the fans of those 2 English teams will probably be interested. Only a certain number of those will be interested. That's not many. The fanbase is too spread out. It probably would've been better to start small - say, a national championship, before expanding by making the cars faster, introducing foreign teams and rounds etc

I want it to succeed. It could be great for the sport. From a motor racing fan's point of view, I'm really looking forward to it. The cars are sexy, the drivers are all really good, the calendar's great and the liveries are all unique. But will football fans who aren't motor racing fans take to it? Will the series survive if they don't?

The liveries look fantastic. I'm not sure if the whole concept is going to be successful but if it provides good racing then it's one more thing to watch and that can't be a bad thing for us motorsports fans anyway.

interesting fact that is the SporTV commentators. I bet Luiz Carlos Jr. will do like James Allen if Tuka Rocha wins and Rodrigo Mattar will curse with all his forces to see Flamengo crash. Lito Cavalcanti is only looking forward to see non-brazillian teams to get fucked up

Exactly, that's why I really hate our commentators, they are more fanboys than real commentators
