Willing to bet Renault paid for the support race slot before they pulled the backing for the Formula 3.5 series, called Bernie to hand it back and he said "Sorry, no refunds!"  So in protest they've obviously send their most minor series to take up the slot to lower the standard of his precious weekend  Next year it'll probably be TCR or one of the thousands of F4 series in its place instead |
