It wouldn't be so bad if the F2 cars didn't suffer from the same problems as the current F1 cars; they are about 3 times as long as they are wide. Why the FIA has such a problem with widening the track of the cars I have no idea. You would think after Spa 2019 widening the cars to allow for more side impact protection would have been a priority, but no. In fact, I don't think the width of the new car has been increased at all, it remains at 1900mm.

I hope they had time to run them through the wind tunnel backwards......

I don't want to get my most upvoted post again by predicting the fact that they might start lifting too much when going backwards at high speed when they suddenly start flipping :whistling:
