Around 14:18 on the stream. That was an odd one; it looked like a fairly minor flip compared to some we've seen. I wonder if he hurt his back or something. |

World Series Formula V8 3.5 is shutting down after 2017 season. http://www.worldseriesv8.com/news/world ... 2018-8572/ If the market changes, the series promoters would look at restarting it later in the future. |

Their point about it affecting many European series is a good one - since the FIA pushed into as many countries as possible to get lower series going, the old-fashioned thing of 'foreign' drivers coming to Europe early in their career doesn't really work any more. |

That race seemed alright, at least during the parts that I watched of it. Will miss the sounds of those cars. Kinda of cool to see Pietro Fittipaldi win the championship as well, he raced at some of the local short tracks in the Carolinas around 2010 or 2011. I think he won the 2011 Limited LM track championship at Hickory too. |
