I don't like how Fittipaldi went straight into the gearbox. Shades of Billy Monger. Hopefully not so serious.

Yeah that following driver went flush into the gearbox. Nothing glancing about that hit.

That is not what you ever want to see. An ambulance on the track. Hope all are OK and only precautionary.

On a replay, it looks like it landed in the actual pitlane itself rather than the garage space or the pitwall. And there's no obvious medical activity in the pitlane, so I think they all got away with it.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Well the cars were taken into the pitlane so no one was hit by debris at least

Everything seems to have been cleared up. No medivac helicopter or anything. Hopefully everyone's alright

I know we talk about this a lot but this new policy of never showing or discussing anything relevant whatsoever when there’s a serious accident is so frustrating. I totally get not showing all the grisly drama of the rescue efforts but it’s so weird to watch a race in 2021 and have no clue what the situation is.

Well, at least we saw it live. So even if there are no replays, it's not in "missed accidents" list.

According to our commentator, Fittipaldi is out of the car, but needed assistance. That's all that was said.

Fully agree with you. This is possibly like Christian Fittipaldi at Surfers with a bad leg injury. He was in pain in the car, but at least we knew he was going to live and just needed his legs taken care of.

They won't even tell us if it's Fittipaldi (head/legs) or Pourchaire (back).

Id be really shocked if Fittipaldi DIDN'T have injuries. That looks like a massive hit.
