Since that news broke about a month ago, nothing more has been mentioned I don't think. Luczo Dragon stated that they had no intention of entering a second car at the time. Not sure what the future for Sato is in IndyCar in 2010; nothing has materialised since those rumours a while back.

Finally RTL7 will show it live again. They promised 10 live races but only 2 were really live. The other had a delay of 30 minutes.

I think it will be an amazing race, only decided in the final laps.

Since is a winner-takes-all race, i think it will come pretty much to the luckiest, if two of then find themselves running side by side leading the race, as we have seen that the 'push-to-pass' button doesn't make much of a difference. Would be cool to see if the third contender is running just behind on the closing laps, though.

I can't believe Dario Franchitti agreed to do that "Magically Delicious" advert (because it's the first thing you get when you click the stream player)

It's totally been "written" by someone who confuses Irish and Scottish as "oh it's the same thing" and the "I'm not even Irish, I'm Scottish" fudge was obviously thought up on the day when Dario protested.

It's so embarrasing I'd have rather walked out of whatever contract obligation forced me to do it than actually take part. Worse than Meerkat :(

Yeah, that's the worst advert I've ever seen.

I seriously cannot think of an advert I've seen in the course of my life that is worse.

The weird thing is Danica comes across as the least worst actor out of all of them

Kanaan's line at the start is terribly artificial and the whole thing seems like a first take, not a final advert.

Meerkat is freaking genius compared to this. I hope this is the last race they bother with it...

First practice session of the day (Indy Lights) has just begun. There are a few hours of track action now, with some IndyCar practice followed by the Indy Lights qualifying.

Commentators saying the car tried to take air

But the replay the feed director showed was inconclusive as it kept freezing to show the suspension failure then unpausing after impact

*Edit*

seen replay, absolutely zero air, idiots...

The youtube replay from the site shows at 0:09 that his LF and wing slightly got up a little---because these cars are so light, and air under the car is a big deal....it only takes a little more to send it over...

It was visually nothing to get excited about, but the consequences of a little more getting under it would have been huge

So Franchitti claims pole and takes that bonus point, which could well be important tomorrow, depeding how it goes.
The three contenders 1, 2, 3... Franchitti, Dixon, Briscoe.
