Actually I like it when they cut to Jenson Button's girl as I think Jessica is amazingly good looking.

Well when someone does 1 annoying interview you let it slide. 5 years of them though, it's gone past stupid now.

They really need to stop interviewing her. I'm sure she's a nice person, but she brings nothing of worth to the interviews at all. It reminds me of when F1 directors would always show Mika Hakkinens wife, or Nicole when Lewis did something. Stop it! Nobody cares!

Yes. At least Erja was humble and quiet, and Nicole is kinda hot. Judd is annoying and ugly, I don't get how a very handsome champion like Franchitti can be with someone like that.

It's just because she's a Hollywood "actress" (though I would like to contest that as she has yet to appear in anything worthwhile). If she was a nobody, we'd never hear a peep from her and all would be well with the world once again.

She wants to come across as a motor racing expert, that's why she is so annoying. If she would like any other wife, all like "OMG I'M SO PROUD" she'd be ok.

I'm not 100% certain of this, but I think she has worn the same hat and dress for all three of Dario's wins.

Everything that brings publicity of any kind to the series is good. Even Mrs. Judd.

Take a look at this video for 60 seconds, starting from 6:14 and tell me if you still stand behind those words.

I dare you.

Oh God, I wish I hadn't watched that :yuk:

The solution is to ban her from the racetrack and...

The ratings were actually UP by 8% from the last year:

A very welcome sign telling that the reborn series is finally starting to heal.

It'll hopefully get better as the races continue to be good while the NASCAR races continue to be snoozefests.

I believe that could be the trend now. All the IndyCar races have been great this year. Had the F1 season not been so great at the same time, everyone would be talking about IndyCars now. For me it's almost starting to look like that the open wheel racing is getting its second chance.

Funny thing is now a 4.8 or 4.9 is a good rating? I want to say in the mid 90's pre-split the 500 was a solid 9.0-10.0 in ratings. This thing was HUGE. However... You can't blame it all on the split or mediocre racing anymore. People just have too many options now. Tv has over 1,000 channels of crap to watch, the internet is huge, ipads, cell phones, outdoor activities, video games... A lot has changed since the mid-90s actually. Our small circle of racing fans makes up probably 4 or 5 % of the normal population these days so I guess those numbers are spot on!
