Buddy Rice will be at Kentucky and Vegas driving for Panther Racing, and Paul Tracy might be at Motegi for Dreyer & Reinbold.

Hopefully it's a 4:30 PM PT start. I'm from California myself, but I understand the ratings lost if they start it at 7:30 PM PT.

Using the sunset time today as a benchmark, I'd say around 7:30 PM PT.

I think the surprise Randy promised us he plans for the Las Vegas Race to compensate the lack of some 5 Mio contenders will be to try to bring as many former Indy500 champions there als possible. Wheldon, Rice...

i think that was a typo lol. and does he qualify for the 5mil? i'd assume so since he doesnt have a full time ride this year (or the last few years for that matter haha)

There won't be anyone competing for the 5 mil, that idea is cancelled because nobody was interested.

There is a heavy rumor moving around the IndyCar community right now that GoDaddy has a clause in their contract with Andretti Autosport. Aparently it is in their contract with Andretti Autosport that if they do not find someone "worthy" of the ride they will move over to Marco as the major secondary behind RC Cola and not be a full season primary sponsor. Rumor has it that Andretti Autosport at first suggested Mike Conway but GoDaddy does not consider Conway a "big" enough name for them. GoDaddy is rumored to be pushing for a female to take over for Danica.


I would also look for many teams to start announcing their engine packages before Vegas.
