I'd prefer to see Pocono of the two tracks mentioned, but yeah, the usual suspects of Road America and Laguna Seca I'd love to see first, however much of a pipe dream they are.

Street races, infighting and cancelling foreign rounds?

Not really...

Pocono would be awesome, As would Cleveland or Road America.

Heck just for fun lets include Surfers Paradise in the list ;)

Miller mentioned Pocono on Wind Tunnel Sunday night & Michael Andretti called it an "Awesome track":

It's good they're rumouring about the one large oval where, even if you brought back the Dallaras, they couldn't pack race even if they tried.

How substantial are these rumours anyway, pie in the sky like the rest of fandom begging for RA/LS/Cleveland back or do they have some actual weight behind them? :?

I'd say rumours are rumours. But it will generate free publicity and interest (in the public wanting to go to an event) which will in turn help the series see if it is worth replacing China with one of those venues.

Pocono, Road America and Laguna Seca are actually being considered. Cleveland from what I hear is a fan request only so far.

I would like to think they would know better then to end the year at Laguna Seca. It would be similar to the Detroit race without the drama and intrigue.

7. Detroit
8. Portland
9. Elkhart Lake
10. Toronto
11. Edmonton
12. Michigan
13. Mid-Ohio
14. Pocono
15. Surfers Paradise

Sears Point is a superb track, just not suitable for Indycars.

I just heard that they cancelled Sonoma and replaced it with Cleveland as requested by the fans and drivers.

The idea of Pocono leaves a rather strange sensation.... Now the track's repaved, it really could work, and I would love every second of it :)

Pocono have said previously they are interested, it's just a case of money I think.

Maybe Chris can sweet talk his class mate into bending her families ear about it....

The dream is dead.
Pocono officials say their track is not an option.
