Only the old Lolas. A1GP Ferrari cars seen in the last season are collecting dust and cobwebs somewhere.

Who cares about the crappy Panoz DP01s. They need to rot in hell ruining the final year of Champ Cars. Now if you wanna do something with the proper Champ Cars (Reynards/Lolas), that would be ace.

They did alright in Superleague Formula Spec,.....the racing in that series shows that if Panoz were given a chance to iron out the kinks then the DP-01 could've been something special.

Oh well, spilt milk and all that...

Craig Dolby told me on Facebook, he expects an 8 race calender. Didn't mention which tracks though. Said I should say hi at Donington :)

This should be the calendar for 2011

4/5 juni Nederland Assen
16/17 juli België Zolder
10/11 september Rusland Smolensk Ring
24/25 september China
15/16 oktober Brazilië Curitiba
22/23 oktober Brazilië
12/13 november Midden-Oosten
10/11 december Nieuw-Zeeland

4 of the 8 races still have no track confirmed, just a country. I liked the 2010 calendar better. It needs more European rounds.

This article talks about the calendar, but also mentions that the teams will now run 2 cars.

Also, the second Brazillian round is confirmed to be at Goiânia, the Chinese race to be at Beijing and the New Zealand race to be at Taupo.

Fantastic news for Goiania city. They're finally coming back to the international racing scene, If I'm not mistaken that was a very popular destiny for World Superbike races back in the 80's. I like that circuit, it's really exciting for racing.

Hermann Tilke was announced today as the designer of Goiânia's new racing facility. Basically, he'll keep the layout this track already owns but he'll completely rebuild it under all FIA requirements. Don't think it will be ready for Superalegue Formula this year though. SF will probably use the original track that's located at another place of Goiania city.

Better not get excited about a Taupo race. I bet it won't even go ahead.

Well I'm not going to Assen, changed my mind. Well, Superleague itself changed my mind. Still just a couple of drivers announced for the new season, so probably not more than 15 or 16 cars to start with. And they ask € 45,- for GA. That's even € 5,- more than MotoGP! :yuk:

So we said  to SF and will attend the Dutch Open Road Races and International Road Racing Championships @ Hengelo. Never been there before, it's a street circuit so gonna be an action packed day for sure!

Prices for Zolder are good, 30 € for access to paddock and grandstands. It's Assen that charges the high prices, not Superleague Formula.

Superleague Formula is changing its identity, as they finally found out that soccer and car-racing don't work together...

I found this article at autosport.nl...it's in dutch so maybe you can use a translator
http://www.autosport.nl/news/22667/superleague_formula_superleague_ondergaat_een_gedaantewisseling_.html

Some mainpoints from the article:

* Name is changed to Superleague Formula World Cup
* Cars with national colours and on the rear wing a logo of an national soccer team (Apperently they bought the A1GP-concept)
* The reason for the calendar-f*ck up... a conflict with SRO (some sort of colaboration between SLF & FIA-GT)
* From this year, teams have to lease the engines and pay for tyres & fuel themselves...

Probably 2 Holland cars in Assen... Czech Republic, Qatar, Russia, China, New Zealand are all mentioned and maybe 2 spanish cars

New livery of the PSV/Team Netherlands car :
