well, about the same time you posted this here, I also saw this on another forum from a person who also claimed we would get GrandAm on Motors this year. So I was a bit careful with that one :p

Finally confirmed officially... all rounds live on motorstv

Also found some pictures of a FC Barcelona-car
They had talks with Barcelona (probably some years ago), but they decided to not participate in SLF... so this car + livery is collecting dust somewhere in a basement

Hopefully Borussia Dortmund decides to rejoin this series soon, especially with the upcoming championship in the Bundesliga.

They also had the best looking car :p

It look like they revised the schedule once more and, guess what, only 5 races in this season :o :

- Assen;
- Navarra;
- Magny-Cours;
- Zolder;
- Donington Park.

So....what the f* has happened. You go from 12 rounds to only 5...

what :? That's not good :x Why release a calendar and then drop more than half the races. Now I understand why MotorsTV could afford the TV rights, they must have been very cheap with only 5 races.

They've basically dumped the entire non-European half of the calendar. I smell money issues.

Why is it always the series with the best racing that goes under? :(

Bad, bad, bad...this smells like A1GP. Never liked the concept behind the series, but racing was great nonetheless. Would be a shame to see it disappear.

It's just impossible to keep so many European based single seater series going.

Yeah and next year we'll be at least 2 down.

Not gonna be too fussed about Renault World series going despite the free-ness of it, but Superleauge had something IMO,
just dressed it up in a horrible package that was never gonna work.

Oh well, maybe someone can take the cars and make a true racing series out of it, but I doubt it.

Or maybe they can pool the cars with the A1GP remnants and have one AWESOME series! :lol:

Like American Greenprix ;)

Don't forget there's still a batch of one year old Panoz DP01 cars lying somewhere!

Having met Craig Dolby at ASI, I thought about going to the Donny race. Seems thats out now.

Haven't the A1GP cars become Auto GP?

Who cares about the crappy Panoz DP01s. They need to rot in hell ruining the final year of Champ Cars. Now if you wanna do something with the proper Champ Cars (Reynards/Lolas), that would be ace.

Ben Johnston owns most of the remaining DP01's and like thier little brothers the Atlantic's they are indeed rotting away in a warehouse somehere.

BTW, I fixed that error Simon.
