Either way that was some manipulation with the timing of the VSC. I wonder if they call VSC much sooner in the future races and if they do, you would get an evidence they knew they screwed up big time here.

I'm fully prepared to one day wake up and this place just doesn't exist and never will again

I'm not sure the powers that be even monitor this place any more and one day they'll just look at their bank statement and wonder why they're paying money to host a server where about 5 or 6 motorsport addicts come to hate on each other based on who they like or don't like (or mainly how much they hate everything and everything in motorsport lol)

As for the F2 race, it shows how the VSC is an inherantly unfair system, but that's racing sometimes. I like there's a gambling element, it keeps everyone from running the exact same strategy and all pitting at the same time that prevented this race from being an absolute procession

TBH it was dull as all hell until the pitstops, then 100% of the overtaking was cold tyres defending from hot tyres (which at Monaco is still pretty damn scary to watch lol)

I can see why Hadjar is mad but happy for O'Sullivan too, we'd all have tried to do the right thing and from the broadcast it looked like his team had called him into the pits at the final juncture, so he had to pit on that lap VSC or not.
And the VSC giving someone a lead with fresher tyres and time to warm them up before it is brought in? Why are we surprised there was no final lap pass for the lead?

Good race though, better than it looked at first.

That's the thing though, he was already in the pits when the VSC came out.

Any excuse to complain. Try actually watching things.

Such an enjoyable race, in addition to some battling, the strategy gamble was sort of a mini-Indy500 with the lead group staying out ("fuel save and pray" style, to quote David Land)


Serious question, do we have a back-up way to reconnect if that happens? Whatever social media people are using these days. There are bits and pieces around (PSN names, etc...) but not sure there's a more general group somewhere?

There is a TBK Light facebook page that has been silent for a long time, but just an fyi.

Also I know this has been brought up before, but I know some people were offering to help financially as best they could if needed.

We should have a TBK discord. Stream races, chat live amongst each other during races, etc. My sim team does this sometimes and the F1 races are WAY more fun bickering with each other over strategy.
