In 2008 they had a dirt race at Sentul among others, lol. FIA has gone full poosay mode since.

How many people actually watch the 3 hour build up or whatever the fuck it is before the F1 sessions? I would love to see the actual statistics that justify paying an extra 10 people to stand and talk.

I don't think I ever watched any build up to any race tbh. Maybe just sometimes for the Indy 500. But at the same time I'm one of the guys who prefer to watch F1 sprint than Free Practice session so what I know :P

I used to watch when I was younger, had nothing else to do and took this thing even more seriously than today

now only if something really unexpected happens like a driver gets injured before the first session
