I hope the FIA has been secretly working on Wipeout 2097 technology for next season as the way it's going they're going to have to find a way to hold races with no tyres at all.

I actually think this race will be dull as hell as Pirelli, the teams and FIA will be in strict conservation mode after Silverstone.

But like 90% of my posts here are wrong so I hope this is another one of them.

It's actually a chip and pin machine linked to the starter, IE he has to swipe daddy's credit card to start the car

A 6 from me. I was too worried about the cameraman to enjoy the early laps (I realise that's my natural panic reaction to serious crashes fault rather than the race itself) and despite Crofty building up the lead battle I just didn't believe Vettel didn't have a margin in hand. Kimi and Grosjean cou...

Ambrose did pinch the hell out of him though. Harvick just decided to dump him for it after the fact. Yeah I know, but it was all survivable. Basically it was "good racing, good racing, hard racing, hard racing, boys have at it racing....annnnnd then you're dumped for daring to pass me..."...

Cars don't speed up when they hit grass you idiot, they just don't slow down as much as they appear to when they're spinning on the tarmac and it looks like they're not slowing down at all when actually they are a bit. That said, tarmac over grass is probably a better deal overall. Gravel is still ...

Tell me again, why did we leave IRP for this?

Tell me again, why did Motors TV leave Spa for this?

Tell me again, why did Indy leave being a racetrack that rarely opened it's gates for anyone to suddenly running America's version of GP2....for this?

Help me Joey-Wan Konobi, you're our only hope!

Ugh they've really fucking ruined Snetterton haven't they? It's ok on the opening lap when they can all switch back (and if we're to get our pile up today, I predict it'll be in the new section...) but then they spread out quickly and the racing is dull. There must've been about 5 passes in that rac...

And I don't know if it is repeated but the Silverstone classic was on itv4 tonight and it culminated in a great super 2000 race (which I won't spoil for those who didn't see it....)

*edit* It's on Sunday at 9am...set your recorder!

Not at all, but anyone who thinks Vettel isn't the favoured son there is deluded.

Daniel will have all that to fight against, and honestly now, good luck to him. His entire career now depends on going up against Vettel and that's a bigger ask than most drivers get in this stage of their career...
