It doesn't matter how good the racing is in a given series if it doesn't have the right marketing muscle behind it. NASCAR's on track product in its highest divisions is very weak compared to its development series but how many people other than the most hardcore even know when the next K&N race...

I get that it's NASCAR's rules that's at fault here but the hatred for Kyle comes from the fact that he revels so much in beating up on lower series guys that too in a car produced by the best Cup team currently. I don't care that he loves racing or he's a true fanatic of the sport. This is not a Ky...

He couldn't win a single race that season he ran his own car in NXS though. Now that was hilarious.

Wish they'd just try one season completely devoid of anyone that is an active driver in Cup and see how it pans out, in terms of ratings and everything else. If the ratings stay about the same, then keep it that way for a few more years and let the series develop its own identity. Up and comers in g...

Me neither. I would put him above them. Not in terms of class or attitude but raw talent only, mind you.

That's one thing I don't like.. when you have a better solution in hand which has been tested in actual competition, why not implement it fulltime immediately? It's like testing a new recipe of pie, sales go up yet you hold it off for months and keep producing new stock using the old recipe. I guess...

I love the fact that people are quick to dismiss Kyle Busch's wins as running in superior equipment compared to the field, in a time where the rules are meant to keep the specifications of the cars so close to dissuade a competitive advantage. Meanwhile, everyone lauds Richard Petty as The King, ev...

It's so sad to see them year after year trying shit fruitlessly hoping to undo what didn't need doing.

Bottom feeder show is what I want to see. If I wanted multi groove I'd watch any of the ten dozen cookie cutter tracks but Bristol for me isn't Bristol till it's 40 drivers clawing for the bottom and causing atleast 20 cautions through the race.

Score! I was trying it out but it was doing it publicly, and I don't want to get banned for that. So I tried it unlisted. So I can stream stuff and just share the URL with certain people and it's all good. Be careful though.. people start passing these links around and before you know it, it ends u...

I'm no Joey fan but my heart went out to him when Kenseth took him out of the title at Marty so how sweet is it that his own teammate essentially takes him out of his shot at the Chase finale so he can't even retaliate this time.

NASCAR's main audience was the generation that grew up on a handful of TV channels and no smart phones, video games or internet porn. That generation is getting old and anyway, NASCAR did its best to drive them away the last 10-15 years.

The track may be boring but it'd be quite a show with these cars, like most road courses and stock cars. Certainly better than any 1.5 mile race. Quit yo bitchin.

I like COTA but it's a track designed for single seaters, slow lumbering stock cars would have a hell of a trouble dealing with it No doubt there's a shorter layout they could use, but still, it wouldn't be great Also Texas Motor Speedway has a "no race at COTA" clause in their indycar co...

So SHR not really skipping a beat here with the switch to Ford. Kind of seems the organization is the same as well.. 4 & 41 then 14 & 10.

Shows how little manufacturer means anymore other than providing the $$$. Cars are all the same between makes. All about the team.
