Today marks the 18th anniversary of Roland Ratzenberger's passing, and whilst most remember him for his all too brief foray in F1, I like to remember him for this...

Seeing a 2-time world champion slowly around the track in Q3 just because he wants to save tyres and wants to start ahead of another driver who does the same is wonderful. This is what we want to see, THIS is Formula One!!

So as promised, here are the pictures of my short trip to Monaco two weeks ago. The track was almost completed, except for some grandstands and the swimming pool chicanes. You can see:
- Pit exit looks a bit clearer
- New big building on the left exiting the tunnel
- Bump taken out
- Barrier moved back at the chicane

Sorry for bumping in like this but fuck me, will they please stop doing different helmets for all kinds of different areas, tracks, celebrations and what not? Djeez. If there's one thing that should be a clear indicator of a driver, then it must be his helmet, which is not the case when it's changed...

If there going to come back to this track they need to run the extended loop ChampCar ran with the longer straght down to turn 3.
