Can't look past what a massive result this is for Honda after the horrific 14/15/16/17 seasons, with their reputation damaged and almost scrapping the project altogether, to come back and win against Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault.

That was peak F1 TV directing. They ALWAYS cut to the crowd or the mechanics during the middle of everything. It's fucking frustrating.

I really wanted LeClerc to win, but I thought his moves were questionable. Even more frustrating is that he didn't even need to make them. Squeezing under braking at the second chicane... Lewis wasn't ahead going into the corner, and he never would have made it around the outside from that position,...

Liberty is appeasing the social justice BS like getting rid of the grid girls. Btw, what happened with those kids that were supposed to replace grid girls? I haven't seen them whatsoever (while Dorna keeps flashing these Monster umbrella girls left, right & center in MotoGP despite them calling...

When you want more girls interested in motorsport having them most visible just stood holding a sign and looking pretty is not a good look. Same with the clapping the drivers up to the podium. Actually I'd say that was worse.

They have the kids stood with the drivers during the anthem.

There could well be some drivers who would choose to defend their title in F2 and F3 if they weren't automatically banned after winning the title - the point of a ladder is to climb onto the next step. If the people behind W Series have changed their mind on being part of the ladder and instead want...

Good call on Matt's part, though Paul Morris in the BTCC would have been...interesting Looking back it was a good decision, but looking at the timeline and in the years that immediately followed he may have questioned his own sanity. The team and Matt disappeared from BTCC following 2000. Matt then...

The old PS game Formula 1 97, as you left the pits on new tyres, they had stickers on for the first few corners, until they wore off.

That was one epic game!

F1 fans are idiots and should only cautiously be asked their opinion about the sport. Every video from the early 2000s has the same comments, people praising the V10, grooved tyres, and refuelling, and calling it "real F1". You dumbfucks, I watched every race session from that era. It suck...

Ferrari International Assistance at it's finest. Renault: Car has a minute millisecond spike in power from running over a curb giving zero performance gain. Exclusion from qualifying....also Renault, your car is completely legal and have been running a system for years but despite being completely l...

Simulated lap showing some of the changes they will be making to Zandvoort. _ypVsOpi-dI Pirelli are apparently concerned about the addition of the banking at the final corner given how all they will be able to do is increase minimum pressures when they would ideally like to use a tyre specifically d...

Meanwhile at Zandvoort: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EL5GY8wWoAE_Tai?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 Construction is actually ahead by quite some margin. They removed all of the gravel around the track in order to put in new fresh stones, which is not mixed in with sand and other garbage. They're finis...

When Jacques Laffite won in Sweden in 1977, they didn't have the French anthem so someone just whistled it into a microphone.

 Post subject: F1 Classics thread

Thought this could use a thread of its own. The F1 Youtube channel is uploading 2 classic races a week, which makes up for pretty good quarentine viewing. Here are the full races by order of upload: Bahrain 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiCmz7vOvjw Australia 1986 Q1sVKTvvmCo Monaco 1996 https...
