RTCC bRyo9G8zI94 SDWUqyBE-og Awesome videos. I'm reminded of the Serbian touring car championship, that if memory serves me right, was mentioned more than a few times on Spamgasm when I was there. I seem to recall they were running super touring regulations long after most nations had abandoned it.

This is relevant OSHA's response The full-course cautions are a direct result, most likely, of the Goody's Dash incident in 2004 (link above) where a driver struck and killed a track worker. NASCAR and Daytona have always been trigger-happy with full-course yellows as a result, most likely. I could...

Nice to see that some teams still actually paint their cars rather than put a wrap on.

Someone's gonna get their head cut off at Texas... the Texas Speedway twitter account remarked that Kurt Busch got "assassinated" on the track. Eddie Gossage is not happy.

Someone just wrecked under the red flag, I think. I think it is John Wes Townley. Ran into the back of someone who was parking.

So why didn't they test these kits beforehand? This shit could have been avoided if they tested in January or something.

They also need to find a way to have at least one oval race before the 500. This is an utter clusterfuck.

Call this tin-eared, call this silly, but maybe the aerokit manufacturers and Dallara should get hold of an old Reynard and study its aerodynamic qualities and how it wouldn't lift off despite going quicker than this. I'd love to see speeds go even higher than what we saw this weekend. Just so long ...

Yeah. If you're running at 230 mph, you should be allowed more track time than one week and one day to get comfortable with a whole new package. That's at least a little sensible than bomb it first time out and hope it stays on the ground. Hope ain't shit in a situation like this.

i cant find it but im sure someone knows, what was Arie Luyendyk's top speed during his run? not quickest lap but top speed at the end of the straights?
