I've never understood why only the 10 first teams get paid anyway. It's ridiculous and purposely fucking over the ones more in need. Do they only want 10 teams on the grid? |

Spain for me. My newborn son was in the hospital for 2 weeks and in the week before we even feared losing him. Later that week he improved greatly and then seeing Max win was just very emotional for me. |

f1 has lost all the interest on me and i don't know if it's me or formula 1, i may have watched 3 races this year. People getting old change, so it could easily be me. but i don't know, it looks like f1 nowdays is something that can have appeal only on wannabe engineers. the sporting side of it is a... |

Well the details are quit simply insane, just have a look at the front suspension contact point. They weren't kidding when they said that they were aggressive with the new car: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C5WllafWAAAeQgN.jpg:large I'm not a technical expert so I'll just ask it like this: is the top... |

I can't quite figure out if you're referring to McLaren's efforts in testing, or instructing them to switch back to Mercedes. |

what is the penalty again if you don't stop for the mandatory tyre change? Depending on the circumstances, DQ or +30 secs after the race: k) Unless he has used intermediate or wet-weather tyres during the race, each driver must use at least two different specifications of dry-weather tyres during t... |

I explored the relationship of the number of overtakes and TBK ratings (starting from 2013). It can be said that overtaking predicts (p < . 01) rating: rating = 0.027*overtake + 4.408. So in order to have rating 9 or higher requires at least 170 overtakes  http://jjserver.pp.fi/TBK3/tbk_rating_... |

McLaren & Honda - both, McLaren for using a more aerodynamic package in order to embarrass Honda Haven't read or heard anything about it, do you have some more info about this? Well, Pedro de la Rosa during quali and race (he's working as a commentator for the Spanish TV) said he realised of th... |

Some people here and elsewhere go a long way of convoluting the rear-ending incident to clear Vettel of responsibility and put it on Hamilton. The FIA examined the telemetry. We all saw the speeds and the throttle/brake indicators on TV. Vettel expected Hamilton to accelerate, which he didn't. He ma... |

Amazing how some can go from bitching about overreach and overcomplication of the rules to crying for a penalty for starting too quickly after the lights went out almost in the same breath, rather than celebrating what was probably one of the best starts you'll ever witness. |

5. Pretty bad, when are they finally going to raise the drs distance to 1.5 or 2 seconds? These cars can just not get within one second of each other, only at the start or restarts and then drs is not active. Who makes these rules? A quick fix can be done but no one is brave enough to do something ... |

A good article from Edd Straw on the subject of the juxtaposition between the talent and the bad choices: On October 22 2006, Fernando Alonso was on top of the world. He'd clinched a second consecutive world championship at the Brazilian Grand Prix, and with Michael Schumacher retiring it was le... |
