I'll give it a 7, which is less than it deserves but it is because the FIA need to really think hard about what needs to happen to bring out a red flag. Seeing the mess after T1 it was mindless of the stewards not to stop and restart the race.

This is an awesome experience.

Going to the first GP2 race now, then practice and qualy for F1. I'm seating just over where the cars go inside the last tunnel. Walking just a few meters away from the track is great, not so much for the ears!

Williams: Always a team to treat their drivers compassionately and never one to completely dump a driver just when he needs their support.

I know Senna is a good driver. I don't doubt that. He's competent. But he's nothing utterly fantastic, which Maldonado can be. I don't disagree with the first part, but I do with the logic behind the second. One day people will realise that to be fantastic, you need to have an end product to prove ...

Indeed  Which will also earn you a penalty.

So the message from the stewards is...

...you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Nah, then you can prove they didn't give you room and they get the penalty instead.

Can't give the farce of the race to any driver. For me it's Race control/the stewards, "Oh look, overtaking. INVESTIGATE!!!" Fuck off.

Personal experience from the other side of that (I'm not a confident asshole) means I agree with that.

The other side of an asshole is a giant dick, so I wouldn't be so proud about that.

Magny Cours was universally hated by everyone except for Ligier/Prost because it's in the middle of fecking no where, and the track was somehow unrealistically smooth, so suspension setup was strange to work on.
