don't get too excited, if this materializes, FIA will soon come with their usual BS of "we must slow the cars down. This is too dangerous!"

Meh I have no hope for Ferrari, at least not before the european season starts.

Unless everyone else has reliability problems and they don't.

I think Marussia will close their gap to the leaders by quite a bit. They were "only" 3s slower today than the pacesetters of this whole test and that with Chilton at the wheel. Even if Williams and Mercedes weren't on fumes, they were, in all likelihood, not far from their best possible laptime and Bianchi may bring down their laptimes by quite some margin too.

Don't forget Bianchi was just 2,5 seconds of pace on day 2. So their pace looks really promising. Would be weird if they jumped Sauber as the best Ferrari costumers team .

Really hope Marussia can profit from the troubles of other teams in the beginning and finally score some points. I think it might be possible for them, Bianchi is on fire.

I like those top speeds I'm seeing. And this is on a track that needs medium downforce due to the, in general, slow nature of the corners.

Blow it up and you have a spare spot on the calendar for a proper circuit.

Probably the wrong track to joke about being blown up.....

Most likely for it to actually happen.

Well if the Bahraini government were to relocate their military resources then perhaps we'd get our wish.

Sochi has good surroundings: The Black Sea, mountains, Olympic venues. Bahrain has virtually nothing.

You have a point. Now that the Russian troops are relocated elsewhere Bahrain has probably more troops/tanks around the circuit than we would have in Russia.

Sochi's event will be ok, just like the Winter Olympics. It's just gonna cost a sickening amount of money to get it done.
