Wasn't that the race with the big pile up?

It was a wet dry race and there was some mixed tyre strategies going on. There were a couple of incidents but nothing abnormal from what I remember.

Ah, thought it might be. Cheers

Just noticed that Duke are selling all their season reviews on DVD now, going back to 1994, with some really good deals (£50 for 2000-09 is ridiculously good value). May be a good chance to spend a load of money on filling the gaps in my collection

I've got them all dating back to 1988. It's well worth the investment.

Yeah, unfortunately there are none on sale from before 1994, but that's not too big a deal for me. I've got 96-2000 and 2006. I want to get 94, 95, 2000-09 and the most recent ones. Just got to try and find the money...

From memory Duke have the 1994 season available for download

Yeah, a few of them are. Not a fan of paying for downloads like that, though - I prefer having the hard copy

Big fan of all the as-broadcast live races and highlights packages from the late 90s on YouTube, though. Just going through a lot of them. So much gets left out of the reviews, especially from the races the BBC covered live for some reason

All I see is a "No Hotlinking" message. What was this?

A 1995 Mobil 1 advert. A couple with a tray of tea standing next to their standard Cavalier in their driveway, while next door's driveway has a Super Touring Cavalier with the team working on it.

FTFY (YT idiot tag doesn't want to work any more for whatever reason)

Ha, men and motors the most dodgily named channel on the EPG
Had some good motorsport programs but you couldn't put it on without some wag teasing you about liking watching men or something

Anyone remember "Out of Control" on this channel?

I've recently uploaded a couple of my BTCC caps to The Fastlane's Youtube channel, thought I'd share them here also:

1992 - Season Finale (and brief season summary)

1992 - TOCA Shoot Out

These two videos are actually one program, which was BBC's end of year review. Enjoy!

This is an interesting video for a few reasons. It is from original Top Gear when they did a short piece on the Prodrive BTCC Honda operation at the opening round of the 1998 season. In addition, the company I was working for was providing the on-track hospitality facility and I was there with the team (and Vicki Henderson-Butler) for the entire week, got to watch testing as well as all the races, and watched the Argentine GP with the team management (who cheered on Wurz during the battle he had with Irvine... because DR ran Benetton at the time).

Thanks for that. Don't remember seeing that before. I was just thinking he was being quite brave for a novice!
