All the cars became identical. Sigh...

I miss the speed differences in the corners between different manufacturers creating interesting racing...

I've been playing with the thought some months now to attend the Daytona 500 next year.

I know Jonathan of TBK- attended the 2006 edition as a non-American. Was wondering what your personal experiences are like. How the crowd generally behaves, how the experience compares to F1... things like that.

I guess it's best to book for the (speed)week and 2 days after the scheduled race date, so that I don't miss out with rain-delays.

You should go in January, see the Rolex 24, stay in town for speedweeks, then stay in Florida for the St. Pete IndyCar race and the Sebring 12 hours.
