heard another rumor about Copart trying to buy the track to convert it as a junkyard

and I've also seen a social media post from one of the shop tenants that they were given a pre-notice (or) a evict notice & that the new owner doesn't plan using the track for racing

(just saw it & was about to post. Shame to hear, about 5 to 7 tracks have closed over (or on the verge of closing) the last week & a half. The rain outs are really hurting these tracks especially - Lakeside Speedway is underwater again for the second time this year speaking of which)

Scott Bloomquist has gotten back behind the wheel in a test this week, to see if he is well enough can compete this weekend despite his off-track injury during Daytona Bike Week.

ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville will now pay $32k to win, with a $10k increase of the overall purse. Intervals between the competition cautions have also changed - now will be at 75-75-50 & will also feature single car qualifying.
