Ah, Canada...I mean O, Canada. Probably my favorite semi-permanent street circuit. I don't think anyone can truly dislike Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. There have been so many fantastic races (and qualifyings) here that I can hardly remember them all.
2003 was fun with wet qualifying.

Hopefully this year will be similar weather-wise. At least the chances are high for wet qualifying and race. And what's important, it's not looking too wet (0.5 mm / hour is perfect). Keep your fingers crossed.

Damn, a slight collision with IndyCar at Road America. F1 starts at 8pm in central Europe, Indy at 9:38pm according to the event schedule. So I hope for a not too eventful F1 race at that point.

And one of the few NASCAR races i'd bother watching...the road course at Sonoma, I assume is around the same time too? :slaphead:

I read somewhere that they've changed from asphalt back to grass runoff at the Turn 8-9 chicane. Wonder if it's done anywhere else on the track?

The last chicane needs gravel ASAP. It would mean more drivers finding the wall of champions after approaching the corner too fast, instead of just cutting it. 1999 would never have happened with current tarmac run-off area.
