Very bad lighting, but I took this one today :)

Loved the movie, it really put ourselves beyond the wall a screen is supposed to be. I felt like a part of him. Great emotions.

Finaly on screen in a Belgian cinema during the Gent filmfestival:

However, the duration is 106 minutes. Is that a shorter version?

Just ordered the DVD of the F1 website!

They are also showing the movie here in the main cinemas, but they don't have subtitles 8O 8O setting themselves up for failure imo

I've just seen the movie.

Very emotional.
Some great footage in it.

Is the BluRay much better than the DVD?

Blu-ray version has the director's extended cut apparently.

Received the DVD today, there was some Hugo Boss watch competition pamphlet with it that I could enter online, but it's only for UK residents only 8O not sure why they even bother sending it out to people outside the UK

We had a stand at work with the DVDs on it. Sold out in a day. Girl at work put a bit of it aside for me.

I see that Autosport are releasing a magazine to celebrate (read cash-in) on the release of the DVD.

Had to wait a while to see this at the cinema here in the states, but well worth the wait. Wonderful film.

I bought the blu-ray version with the extended cut at one of the shops at the Nurburgring. A great documentary!

With the movie taking a long time to get it's limited release here in the USA, I did find versions of the film online to download. However I deliberately held off on watching them purely because I wanted the to see the film in a theater for the first time... I'm glad I did.

You mentioned the extended version included on the BluRay. This is the version of the film I downloaded.

Whilst I think the extended version is still a great piece of work. I felt that the inclusion of interview footage, you know... the talking head stuff, kind of pulled me out of the drama of the film.

I wondered what anyone else thought who have seen both cuts of the film.

The extended cut goes on for a bit and it's badly edited, but it's really interesting to see the emotions of the people who knew him and hear about their personal stories with Senna, whilst the regular version is more cinematic.

(FINALLY) picked it up at the stores yesterday, and watched it last night. I have no shame in telling that quite some tears were shed during the ending. The funeral scene with the focus on his relatives/friends combined with flashbacks to all the stuf that happened involving those persons in the previous years, it just hit me. Brilliant.

Quite a downside almost nothing was mentioned about the karting world cups with the Parillas(?), the F3 Macau race and the F3 season in general with Brundle. And why no mention about Bellof at Monaco?

Or Nurburgring 1984
