New two-driver, 90-min race GT3-car format. Schedule likely dialed back to 7 events.

As far as I understood this means combining the GT and SprintX classes. Good news because that was getting confusing as hell.

Schedules was released at Spa last month during the annual SRO presser. Only races being ran as a co-headline or as a support class is GTS at St. Pete in March, and the co-headliner with NASCAR Pinty's at Mosport in May. The rest are standalone events for the most part.

GT3 portion of Pirelli World Challenge has been renamed as Blancpain GT World Challenge America.

Sad but might as well just go full-on Blancpain here as SRO has destroyed all of the fun things from PWC.

CBS Sports Network confirmed to broadcast the entire season for the Blancpain GT World Challenge America, Pirelli GT4 America & TC America in 2019. Blancpain GT World Challenge America will feature same-day delay coverage for race #1 of the weekend, with race #2 being broadcast LIVE. Some weekends will be delayed due to conflicts with other sports. Pirelli GT4 America & TC America will continue on a tape delayed package. CBS Sports Network will have same-day tape delayed coverage, while the World Challenge website will continue to live stream along with live radio coverage through SiriusXM.

Didn't really follow that well, either needed barrier work or extraction but driver was ok.

I think it was more barrier repair then getting the driver out.
