I still hope Kurt Bush starts. He is rumored to do the rop, and he is quoted that it "wont be a joyride".

Next year is when he said he wants to do it.

I guess the Zanardi thing fell through and so did Alesi coming back?

Oh well, I'm excited to see what Conor Daly can pull off. Should be a great race, couple more entrants would be perfect, excited already!

I know what he said. But for me it just sounds like he'd like to do it asap. Listen:

Is there actually a stream on that site? I can just see a pic of his name plate, but nothing like a flash player or such.

That bit about Michael wanting to make this a full, proper test makes me think a big part of this was just to have a chance to get their equipment on track and start gathering some data early.

Well that was a bit anti-climatic.

Kurt said he would want to race at an oval before attempting Indy but I don't know how feasible that would be because that would have to be this year, assuming there are no ovals before Indy next year.

What ovals wouldn't clash too much with NASCAR this season?

All the oval races are on weekends where there is a Cup race, but several are on different days, he could run either Texas (Cup at Pocono), Milwaukee (Cup at Michigan), Pocono (Cup at Daytona), or Fontana (Cup at Talladega) and still be able to run the Cup race that weekend.

Wow, didn't realize we will have such great weekends later on this year.

Nobody should be surprised by this, there was almost no way Kurt was doing Indy this year unless he laid down some god like laps and a multi-million dollar company insisted that they fund the whole thing.
